Our Story

Cantonese BBQ is a cuisine originated from Guangdong (Canton) Province in China over 700 years ago.  It first appeared during the Song Dynasty, and only served at the Emperor's palace.  To this day, it has become a characteristic cultural food that ordinary people can enjoy.

Over time, Cantonese BBQ became very popular in Hong Kong and Macau.  Nowadays, you see hanging roast ducks, roast pork belly, marinated chicken, etc. inside a window glass display in the Chinatown of the world's well-known cities, such as New York, London, Tokyo, Sydney, etc.

King Duck BBQ is here not only to bring in the authentic taste of this popular cuisine to everyone, but also the food culture around such cuisine to the local community of South Miami.
